motivation...

i watched a video on a talk given by a distinguish speaker, Mr. Adam Khoo. He's 33 and was a self-made millionaire when he was 26. He has gone through a lot of hard times before being at the summit. I would say he's one of the very successful entrepreneur in Singapore. and he deals with motivations.

he said that there are no concentration-deficit students. only boring teachers. well, i think i have to agree on that. However, when content is involved, it's also depends on the syllabus. and a teacher's performance must not merely judged by students' performances. There's only a certain limit to what teachers can do coz of time, workload and commitments.

another quote would be, u can't change what's happening to u, but u can change what's happening in u. This is a good line. if u want others to change, u have to change first. I dun think many of us understand this and we tend to blame others for everything. y are we giving the power to others?

it's was a good session watching his video. really inspiring. very few of us think the way he does. that's exactly y he is up there.

p/s when God closes the door, we say He's unfair. He never keeps the door locked and still gave us the choice on whether to go out or not!

Money.....

in this world, money is very important. but it's neither the most nor the only important thing in our lives. i dun understand some of them who worship money. Y r they becoming the slaves of money? money should be our friend not our boss!!!

i have met few who talk about money all the time. As in how much can i get; how less do i have to pay; i must get more money; if they are not paying, i'm not doing. if we dun put the money on the table, we cannot talk with them. i think in near future, i have to pay them to talk to them. Ganja!!!

Money is just a tool of business. i know how important it is to our expensive daily lives, but do not lose ur human touch and your humanity coz of it. all da best to all of you who worship money!!! think about others who appreciates money but knows how to live happily!

My friend was reading a magazine the other day and i came across this section on things men don't like about women. though it was an interesting topic, i dun think it's reliable coz it was written by a lady!! haha :D how can a lady write about men?? maybe she's single and lonely!!!

well, lemme write about what guys dun like about girls:

A guy doesn't like a girl who:

1) nags a lot
2) boasts a lot
3) talks as if she knows everything
4) complains a lot
5) gets jealous easily
6) likes to control everything
7) expects something from the guy all the time
8) brings him along for shopping
9) disturbs him when he is watching football
10) is a hypocrite

Blood drive....

donating blood might look scary (with the needles, etc.). but u can save up to 3 persons' lives if you donate blood. though the needle part is a bit scary (i know of some tough guys who are scared of needles) but it's not painful. so start donating today!! it's in your blood!!

A day out with Birdie...

Do you have a friend whom u do all the carzy stuffs with??? well, i have one and she's birdie. i dunno why but our wavelengths are almost the same almost all the time. We watched movies yesterday. yap, 2 movies in a day. and both she never heard of. cool, rite? the good thing was we both enjoyed both the movies!!!



it was a day off for me sice i was busy for the past few weeks. Gonna be busy for the next few as well with my bro's wedding and assignements and projects. life's getting busier. man, never been this busy even when i was in Chong Boon. who said NIE is a place to relax????
