A friend...

the bunny is me btw!!

though i'm busy, somehow this friend of mine came into my mind... i was thinking all the funny things i used to do with her... we r very close to each other... very close as best friends.

Her name is Elizabeth.. i came to know her when i interviewed her for Red Cross recruitment. that was our first meeting. haha... it's very hard to find someone as crazy as u r and who has the same wavelength of thinking as urs. haha. she understands me well...

first common orientation and thats her bandage on my head

though i have lots of friends, but Elizabeth is someone who i really wanna spend my time with. it's fun to be with her. we have watched movies, went out, organized events together. everything is memorable. we share a lot of things together... i still remember what i did to her phone and how i made her valentines miserable!! truly madly and deeply sorry. haha. it was fun though!

she was there whenever i needed a person... whenever i needed a friend to share. so i really appreciate her friendship! well, i hope everyone has 'Elizabeth' in ur lives. u know, with friends like her, life would be meaningful!!

a friend in need is a friend indeed. That's Elizabeth. Thank you, girl. i really appreciate our friendship!!!

just feel like writing something about u as i dun mention u often. Smile!! :)

Metier VII

Last Friday was one of the most extravaganza events in our school which is the Metier VII. it was so colourful and a lot of energy in the performances. though i was only at backstage (in charge of back-stage) i could feel the adrenalin of the performers over-flowing. haha... it was a good show. it was shown when standing ovation was given at the end of the performance. cool.... here are some of the pics for those who have missed it:

most of them are back-stage crews; they are funny!

preparation time......

dancers and actresses... they were so good!!!

Too bad, i couldn't get more stage pictures as i was at the backstage... anyway, job well done!!!

Congratulations Metier VII!!!

Cameras...

when u go out for a vacation, you should at least bring a digital camera to capture any memorable moments and mesmerizing sceneries. This is because, after sometime, the pictures you have taken would bring back memories which can calm you down. Pictures will never bore anyone. Movies do!!! haha...

so i'm in a dilemma to buy a video camera. it's good to have one before going to any vacation. but then, i'm not sure which brand to buy, the best resolution or the extra features of the gadget. well, never had one before. haha. so since the price is high, i hope the video cam is worth the money.

digital camera is a must at least. haha. though i know a bit about digital cameras but i might not know everything bout it. let's see how... but it's good to have either one. life would be more meaningful with cameras, i guess!! quite excited!!

Life....

My landlady has a part time maid... she comes here and cleans up the whole house when she has an off day from the place she's working... simply means, she's working 7 days a week. and she starts to clean early in the morning and finishes about 6pm. this is also the timing where she works. she's working something like 70 hours a week! coz she needs the money... she has no choice but to work everyday to support her family back in Philippines.

Life is not beyond our expectation

so, i was talking about it with my housemate, an experienced guy. i was telling him how hardworking the maid is. and i'm having only 5-days-a-week job. not to say that i'm not hardworking, but the maid is much more hardworking. He told me that life is full of duties. when u r small, ur duty is supposed to study. and if u dun do ur duty well, u'll suffer in the future.

on the other hand, if u do ur duty well, there's another duty after u finish your studies. u have to work well, look after ur family. then u'll have ur own family and have to look after ur kids too and the cycle continues. though his explanation was short, but it's true... do ur duties well and u'll be satisfied with whatever u r doing now!!

how successful u r is measured based on how satisfied u r; not how much u earn!!!

Staff retreat final day!!!

Staff retreat is finally done!!! and i guess a lot of them enjoyed. at least i did. haha. for today, i was involved in preparing the video and the closure. Again, it was stressful. we were given only about 3 hours to make a video about the two days. but we did a great job. Mdm Poh Lin, Mr. Vinodh and I did the video and had fun in the process of doing it. the closure was not bad either. phew, very relieved now.

my lunch and a very nice pond... missed the birds though...

The good thing about organizing any events is when someone who u really respect comes to u and says job well done! it's really satisfying. feel like all my time and effort worth it. Thank you for the encouragement. I know things which i have done were not the best but at least i tried and now i know which area to improve. lesson learned and stay positive!!!

Done for the second day of the three very busy days... one more to go!!!
