staff retreat meeting day 3: another very heavy session. basically, i'm involved in three sessions; ice-breaker (Liz, i'll be bugging u on this. hahaha), blogging and basically logistics on day 2. quite heavy but i think i'm already enjoying it. especially the blogging part.
princey and vice-princey want all the teachers to have a blog. haha. well, i'm king in this since i have a blog for the past two years. cool, huh. but then i have a situation here. what happens if my princey reads my blog??? haiya. i told her i got a blog and if i start a blog now with a new adress, that would be too obvious. ganja la me. dunno what she's gonna say after reading my blog. gonna post some comments too, she said. haha.
well, back to the blogging part, i will have to read some of my students blog to understand y they like to blog. haha. Mitra, ur blog is next. haha. i will have to read what my students write about the charming and cool teacher. haha. time to face the reality. i've to recommend few blogs to my vice princey which are appropriate to show to all the teachers as a head start for them to start blogging. haha..... cool, rite!! my students, papa is here!!!

Staff Retreat....
i volunteered myself to help in the staff retreat event when my princey (principal) asked some of us who are relatively free to help. Actually i'm very busy but u know, i'm a good teacher now. (upgraded from a good boy)
staff retreat; sounds fun. sentosa would be a fun place, ubin would be a free and easy place, anywhere overseas would have been a fantastic place. (expenses are covered) i thought staff retreat is nothing but having fun after a year of hardwork and stress (i just short of few days). but when i went for the first meeting, they were all talking in french. i couldn't understand anything. strategic planning la, SEM la, etc. i was stunned. haha. my perspective of the word retreat changed......
in the second meeting, i was a bit clearer on what was happening. basically, we need to plan activities for the teachers to understand more about their roles and goals. something like workshop la. haha. then we came up with this idea where ex-students will guide us into game arcades, shopping malls, common students' hanging place, KTV, etc. to explain to us why students love to be there. we might have some hands-on expereinces. haha. i'll be there for games. hehe. this is for us to understand our students more.
No sentosa, no ubin no overseas. but i guess these sessions will give us the opportunity to gain something while relaxing. we will be more confident of ourselves to tackle some of the problems next year. hope everything goes well...... this is the first time i'm in an organizing committee as a teacher. haha...

Danny boy's day!
Last monday was Dan's birthday... and i was sick. haha. i'm not trying to say anything here. i was sick but still went out to celebrate Danny's birthday. well this was the arrangement. Dan would come down to singapore with his gf (who shares the same birthday) and message me where they are after my school. everything went well. he asked me to meet him at Suntec.
I had to take MRT to City Hall station since i dunno how to get there by bus. but there was another problem. Suntec is like 15 mins walk from the MRT station. since it was his birthday, i din wanna make a big fuss out of it. when i reached Suntec, i messaged him asking for rendezvous. and u know what, he wasn't even there. asking me to come back to NYDC, which is somewhere near to the MRT station. ganja. again, since it was his birthday, i din wanna make a big fuss out of it.
when i reached at the place he asked me to, i realized something. there's isn't any NYDC outlets. haha. ganja. it was instead called NYNY (New York New York). but i wasn't sure whether that was the place he mentioned. if i'd waited outside the outlet, i would have looked lost and blurr. so i decided to hang around in the cd shop first till they come. need to look cool in my business attire. hahaha. at last they came with Hema.
We went inside changed places here and there before we finally settled down. and the waitress ignored us till i have to call them out. haha. we sat and chatted there and celebrated Dan's and his gf's (Sin Ying) birthday. they were happy, that was what i wanted. Dan with his gay acts caught some of the waitresses' attention. haha. he was the 'man' on that day.

'sigh'ntific description about me!
well, liz challenged me to write about me scientifically. so here i am describing myself in science and maybe stats. those who wanna learn science, dun follow whatever i say. u might hate science for the rest of ur lives. those who wanna learn stats, believe only ur books. haha.
like all other living things, i'm made up of C, H and O. Crazy, Hyper and Old (i'm a dinosaur). brain and heart are the most important organs to all higher organisms, but i have neither. i dun have the grey matter coz i miss placed it when i was young. and couldn't find it till now. my heart is now not with me coz it's with a girl back in Malaysia.
now, lets go to my attitude. quiet, shy, normal, sane, logical, rational, scientific, mathematical, - these words have one thing in common. none describes me!!! damaged insulators (my skin) caused electrical shock, so i dun look like David Beckham anymore. people, not me, say i look more like Tom Cruise now. i'm an organism which can survive on Milo alone but cannot survive even though i have everything but Milo (maybe i'll change my mind when i have everything). i dun like to watch moss porn like Birdie; i like real actions (if u understand what i mean). its biology!!! my chromosomes like to go to temples and libraries more than shopping malls and pubs.
well, if u wanna know more bout me, u shud be reading a paper on me written by Spielbeg. ET. Liz, i can't think of anything anymore dy... u know y?? i told u i misplaced my brain. so cannot think. hehe....
